Messi added one of the 5 goals last night coming in the 51’ from outside the 18-yard box just past the hands of SKC goalkeeper, Tim Melia. “He’s able to beat me.” Melia said about Messi’s goal. “Take him out of that game and its not a 3-2 game” after being quoted that he didn’t want Messi to come to Kansas City and play.
Sporting Kansas City is back at Children’s Mercy Park this Saturday to take on rival St. Louis City at 7:30p (KO 7:40p) and looks to add to there points early in the season.
