Home Match Finale Will Be Vermes’ 600th Match with SKC

Sporting Kansas City will host LAFC Saturday night for the home finale for the 2024 season. LAFC hosted Sporting just 10 days ago in the U.S. Open Cup Final. That match ended in a 3-1 win in favor of Los Angeles.

Peter Vermes will coach his 600th all time match and becoming the first individual in MLS history to do so with one club, across MLS (532), U.S. Open Cup (41) and international (27) matches.

A potential 15 players will make their last appearance at home for Kansas City. Erik Thommy, Johnny Russell, Remi Walter, Tim Melia, Andreu Fontas, William Agada, Robert Voloder, Logan Ndembe, RobertCastellanos, Zorhan Bassong, Memo Rodriguez, Ryan Schewe, Stephen Afrifa, Danny Flores, and Chris Rindov all included. 

Sporting Kansas Coty is offering deals for fans as Saturday will be ‘Fan Appreciation Match’. Free popcorn and a complementary $10 on Sporting Pay during pregame (6-7:30). Half off value menu items and $2 caned beer. 50% off primary jerseys (excludes 3rd throwback wizards kits)
