Struggling Kansas Football Hopes Venue Change Sparks Turnaround Against TCU

Questions of the play calling, doubts mounting, and the Kansas football program faltering. Staring off the season with a quick three losses, the Jayhawks have not lived up to any expectations.

Saturday’s mid-afternoon game will feature Kansas hosting the Horned Frogs at a new venue. Kansas fans hope that the literal ‘change of scenery’ will be what the team needs to get their season back on track. The first two games were held at Children’s Mercy Park, but now the games will be held on the Missouri-side of Kansas City, where the Chiefs play their home games.

Kansas’ Quarterback Jalon Daniels has had continuous struggles throughout the season, but looks to bounce back on the season. The shining light for the Jayhawks offense has been Devin Neal who has corralled together multiple 100+ rushing yard games. He has been spectacular and provides an excellent option for an playcalling team that is looking to readjust their goals.

The defense has played great throughout the first quarter of the regular season, forcing high-powered offenses to lower scores than expected, but it hasn’t been perfect. Regardless of what has happened so far, both sides of the ball need to play close to perfect, just to get back on the right track. In reality, the goal is to get on the track for the first time because this Kansas team has not played up to their abilities.

Will that change? We will find out at 2:30 PM. If not attending at Arrowhead, you can watch the game on ESPN+.
