The NWSL Summer Cup semifinals were underwhelming, with Gotham FC narrowly defeating Angel City 1-0. In the second match, Kansas City Current edged North Carolina Courage 2-0, thanks to early goals from Temwa Chawinga and Debinha. The Current advance to face Gotham FC in the final on October 25th.
